Closing My Shop

I'm so sad to write this post, but... I know I have to do.

I decided to close Birdie Brown at the end of November.

There are several reasons for this. But, I don't want to bore you with my long story and my poor English. The most important reason is that I need more free time. I truly appreciate your warm and kind words to my illustrations. Those words always encourage me so much. On the other hand, I always feel that my skill of illustrating is not enough and I need to practice more and more. I need to learn about Adobe Illustrator more and more. I need to see so many beautiful things in the world to get inspired. And also, I want to keep some time for card making.
I spend half of a month for There She Goes and another half of a month for Birdie Brown. It is very hard to do everything I want to do. So I had to decide to close Birdie Brown.

On the bright side, I will keep illustrating for There She Goes. Please follow my another blog and the TSG blog so that you won't miss any info about the stamp sets illustrated by me.

This month's release will be the last one from Birdie Brown. And I won't share a freebie next month. Instead, I will have all the retired digis on the shop next month.

This month's sneak peeks for the release start this Saturday, 12th. You will see two single images and one set related to the winter holidays!;)

Thank you so much for reading.

  5. So sorry you have had to make this tough decision, but you have to look after yourself first, so you are doing the right thing. . I have had virtually zero time for card making myself for the last few months, so fully understand where you are coming from . I adore your work, so will seek you out wherever you are ;) Wishing you every happiness <3 Averil x

  17. I'm sorry to hear you are closing your shop. I love your images at TSG; however, I do prefer digital images due to storage so this makes me sad for several reasons. I understand why you are doing it and you have to do what is best for you and your family. I don't think you have poor English you are much too rough on yourself. Best wishes!!!

  32. First and foremost, I understand that you must do what is best for you. But I want you to know that my heart is breaking at hearing this news. I absolutely ADORE your designs. And I love, love LOVE the cards you create with them. I just printed out the Hey Pumpkin Scarecrow yesterday and I plan to create a card with him today. Your designs are some of the BEST out there, Torico and I thank you so much for sharing them with us. Your monthly freebies were always such a special gift for me. I've purchased a few images from the Shop, but I still have a looooong wish list. I think I need to get in there and get some shopping done! I wish you all the best, my friend.
